Актуальность обеспечения полноценного питания детей школьного возраста, значительный охват обучающихся питанием в учреждениях образования, увеличение удельного веса детей, нуждающихся в коррекции питания, определяют цель исследования: оценить организацию питания в учреждениях общего среднего образования для обоснования дальнейших мероприятий по его совершенствованию.</p></sec><sec><title>Материалы и методы</title><p>Материалы и методы: проанализировано 26 нормативных документов за период с 2000 г. и по настоящее время, определяющих требования к организации питания в учреждениях образования. Изучение режима питания и частоты потребления отдельных пищевых продуктов проведено на основании анкетирования 1975 родителей и учащихся 5–11-х классов. Изучена энергетическая ценность, содержание витаминов и минеральных веществ в школьных завтраках и домашнем питании 1168 учащихся 5-х классов г. Минска.</p></sec><sec><title>Результаты</title><p>Результаты. Установлено, что в республике разработаны документы, определяющие требования к организации питания учащихся, организовано диетическое питание в учреждениях образования, постоянно совершенствуется материально-техническая база пищеблоков, проводится обучение детей навыкам здорового питания. Вместе с тем анализ фактического питания в учреждении образования и в домашних условиях свидетельствует о нарушении структуры потребления продуктов питания, что обусловливает дисбаланс поступления с пищей макро- и микронутриентов.</p></sec><sec><title>Заключение</title><p>Заключение. В республике создана эффективная модель организации школьного питания. При этом действующая система не позволяет в полной мере обеспечить организацию рационального и сбалансированного питания детей. Необходимо продолжить работу по подготовке кадров, занимающихся организацией питания учащихся, созданию системы мониторинга фактического питания в учреждениях образования с применением современных информационных технологий, обучение учащихся вопросам рационального и сбалансированного питания. </p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><sec><title>Introduction</title><p>Introduction: The relevance of providing healthy nutrition for school-age children, a significant coverage of students with school meals, and an increase in the proportion of children requiring correction of the diet have determined the objective of the study to evaluate school feeding and to substantiate further measures for its improvement.</p></sec><sec><title>Materials and methods</title><p>Materials and methods: Twenty-six regulations on school meals adopted from the year 2000 to the present have been analyzed. The study of the eating schedule and the frequency of consumption of certain foodstuffs was carried out based on a survey of 1,975 parents and schoolchildren in grades 5 to 11. The energy value, the content of vitamins and minerals in school breakfasts and home meals of 1,168 fifth graders from the city of Minsk were estimated.</p></sec><sec><title>Results</title><p>Results: The findings show that regulations on school meals have been developed in the republic; dietary nutrition is organized at schools, the material and technical base of school kitchens is constantly being improved, and children are being taught healthy eating skills. At the same time, the analysis of actual nutrition at school and at home indicates malnutrition causing an imbalance in the dietary intake of macro- and micronutrients.</p></sec><sec><title>Discussion</title><p>Discussion: An effective model of school feeding has been created in the Republic of Belarus. Yet, the current system cannot fully ensure a balanced diet for children.
