Современный мир невозможно представить без цифровых технологий, которые используются во всех отраслях техники, науки и образования. Использование электронных средств обучения в школах и вузах показало необходимость регламентов их применения для предупреждения таких негативных последствий, как зрительное и общее утомление. Правительством Российской Федерации была разработана «Концепция информационной безопасности детей». Ее целью является создание условий информационной среды, обеспечивающих позитивную социализацию, оптимальное личностное, познавательное и физическое развитие, сохранение психического и психологического здоровья и благополучия. Особую актуальность приобретает обоснование продолжительности использования цифровых средств, в том числе при дистанционном обучении.</p></sec><sec><title>Цель</title><p>Цель: оценка рисков ухудшения нарушений зрения и других показателей самочувствия в зависимости от продолжительности использования цифровых средств обучения старшеклассниками и студентами при дистанционном обучении.</p></sec><sec><title>Материалы и методы</title><p>Материалы и методы. Проведен анонимный опрос 190 старшеклассников Москвы и Омска, студентов колледжа и студентов первого курса вуза Омска с использованием online-анкетирования о состоянии здоровья, самочувствии и жалобах при дистанционном обучении разной продолжительности. Исследование выполнено в марте–апреле 2021 года, когда занятия проводились дистанционно. Обработка данных (190 чел.) осуществлялась общепринятыми статистическими методами. Рассчитывали критерий хи-квадрат, показатели относительного риска (RR) и этиологической доли (EF).</p></sec><sec><title>Результаты</title><p>Результаты. Получены новые данные распространенности нарушений зрения у современных старшеклассников, студентов медицинского колледжа и медицинского вуза по результатам самооценки. Не имели нарушения зрения 42,9 % старшеклассников, 51,8 % студентов колледжа и только 37,2 % студентов вуза. Оценена продолжительность онлайн-обучения и показана распространенность ухудшения самочувствия, жалоб на раздражительность, головные боли, боли в шее и спине при разной продолжительности обучения. Оценены риски здоровью и определена допустимая величина продолжительности дистанционного обучения, после которой значительно возрастают риски ухудшения оцениваемых показателей состояния здоровья. Такой предельно допустимой критериальной величиной является 5-часовая продолжительность онлайн-обучения. Результаты имеют ограничения, связанные с относительно малой региональной выборкой.</p></sec><sec><title>Заключение</title><p>Заключение. Результаты исследований направлены на профилактику нарушений зрения и психоэмоционального состояния в условиях цифровой среды при дистанционной форме обучения. Данные использованы при подготовке методических документов по профилактике нарушений зрения и обеспечению безопасных условий дистанционного обучения. </p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><sec><title>Introduction</title><p>Introduction: It is impossible to imagine the modern world without digital technologies currently used in all branches of industry, science, and education. Application of electronic learning tools in schools and universities has shown the need for regulating their use in order to prevent such adverse outcomes as visual and general fatigue. The Government of the Russian Federation has developed the Concept of Children’s Information Security aimed at creating the information environment that promotes positive socialization, optimal personal, cognitive, and physical development, maintenance of mental and psychological health and well-being. The rationale for optimal screen time duration, including that during distance learning, is of particular importance.</p></sec><sec><title>Objective</title><p>Objective: To assess risks of visual impairment and ill-being posed by the use of e-learning tools for high school, college, and university students during distance education.</p></sec><sec><title>Materials and methods</title><p>Materials and methods: An anonymous survey of 190 high school students in Moscow and Omsk, college students and firstyear Omsk university students was conducted using an online questionnaire about well-being and health complaints during distance education of different duration. The study was carried out in March–April 2021, when students were learning online. Data processing was carried out by generally accepted statistical methods; the chi-square test was performed and relative risks and etiologic fractions were estimated.</p></sec><sec><title>Results</title><p>Results: We collected new information on the prevalence of self-assessed visual impairment in modern high school, college, and medical university students. According to our findings, 42.9 % of high school students, 51.8 % of vocational school students, and only 37.2 % of university students had no visual impairment. We estimated screen time duration and established the related prevalence of ill-being, irritability, headaches, neck and back pain in the respondents. The health risk assessment performed showed that distance learning should be limited to five hours in order to avoid its potential adverse health effects in students. The results have limitations associated with a relatively small regional sample.</p></sec><sec><title>Conclusions</title><p>Conclusions: Our survey results are aimed at preventing visual impairment and psychological stress in students working in the digital environment during distance learning.
